Acting legend Robert DeNiro has a reputation for being difficult to work with - now, his child’s nanny says he’s just as difficult to work FOR. Alexis Barry claims that the actor and his wife owe her $40,000 in unpaid wages for 750 hours of overtime, and 10 vacation days that she was never allowed to take. A nanny who was fired by Robert De Niro has sued the actor for more than $40,000 in overtime pay. Alexis Barry says in court papers that she was never paid for more than 750 hours of overtime and never took 10 vacation days. She began working for De Niro and his wife, Grace Hightower, in August 2006, and says she was fired 10 months later -after she said she was going to quit. The couple have an 11-year-old son. Barry says she is owed more than $40,000. She filed a lawsuit Friday in Manhattan’s state Supreme Court. De Niro spokesman Stan Rosenfield says he can’t comment because he hasn’t seen the lawsuit.

But if this woman’s claim is accurate, 750 hours of overtime in 10 months is a lot, especially if there’s only one kid to care for– just what kind of schedule was this woman working, anyway? For all the efforts to reunite accused batterer Chris Brown with his girlfriend/victim Rihanna since the Feb. 8 attack that left her face bruised and bloody, it looks as though she is trying to move on without him. After an attempt by Brown to reconcile with Rihanna by getting her to meet him at Diddy’s Florida estate, many believed that she had taken him back. But the two have not been seen in public since a few days before the court hearing in which Brown plead not guilty. Now, new reports say that Rihanna has broken off all ties with Brown for good, in order to save her career. The wedding is off! Rihanna has called off the wedding to Chris Brown, pals say - and the multitalented beauty has embarked on a new chapter of her life! “There was definitely a wedding in the works, but Rihanna had a change of heart and told Chris the last thing she wants to be is his wife,” a close friend told The Enquirer. “She’s still got the diamond engagement ring that Chris gave her, but she pulled the plug on their engagement.” And after she gave Chris the boot, the 21-year-old singer “made up her mind she was going to concentrate on becoming a film star and went out shopping for a Beverly Hills mansion,” another pal told the Enquirer. “Rihanna knows she’s got the looks and talent for movies, and she’s decided to do everything in her power to become a movie star.” Rihanna’s 1-year-long romance with 19-year-old R&B Chris Brown blew up on Feb. 8 when he allegedly beat her mercilessly. He’s been charged with two felony counts, and faces up to 56 months in prison if convicted. As the Enquirer reported in our March 30 issue, Chris proposed to Rihanna with a $54,000 engagement ring from chichi jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels when the couple retreated to P. Diddy’s mansion in Miami shortly after the incident. Anyway, hitting the town with your best girlfriends sounds like a pretty normal way of getting over a bad breakup. I did the same thing when I was her age. Of course, I didn’t have to do it under the microscope of the paparazzi. Whatever happens with Chris’ legal issues, I sure hope these reports are true. Rihanna can do better than some overrated punk-ass bitch who gets his jollies punching women in the face. I hope she does become a movie star, and that Chris is stuck on the sidelines, watching his ex-girlfriend’s star rise. I can’t really think of a better revenge, can you? Two of “The View’s” most controversial castoffs, Star Jones and Rosie O’Donnell, used to talk smack about each other. Rosie, who came in to the top rated estrogen bitch-fest to replace Jones, an original co-host, who left the show amid backlash over her feud with Barbara Walters and the non-stop wedding plugging. O’Donnell stayed on “The View” for a year before shipping out after a series of televised verbal spars with conservative co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck and numerous others - including Jones and Donald Trump. In fact, Rosie once slammed Star on her personal blog, calling her out on the claims that she lost hundreds of pounds by doing pilates, when it was clear that Jones had some kind of surgical intervention. But now, both Rosie and Star say there’s no ill will between them. It was one of daytime TV’s biggest feuds, but are Rosie O’Donnell and Star Jones making up?! No feud here! Rosie tells “Extra, “It was never a personal thing with her.” She continues, “We both were strong women… then I sort of watched her get swept away in the insanity of fame.” O’Donnell admits, “We’re actually having dinner next week.” O’Donnell reveals she changed her opinion about Jones, saying, “I thought it was amazing to see her the other day on ‘Oprah.’ To see her evolved into the woman that she is.” Rosie continued, “I was really proud of her and happy for her.” O’Donnell also reveals, “When she got divorced, I wrote her an email.” Now the former “View” co-hosts will also be having lunch together for charity. They are currently auctioning off the lunch date to benefit the Figure Skating in Harlem program. The 47-year-old Rosie confesses she was touched by Star’s honesty, saying, “I know many people who had that surgery [gastric bypass] and nearly all of them had gained weight back. So she should feel very proud of herself. She did a drastic thing to save her health and her life and then to be able to follow through. Many, many people don’t have what it takes to do that. She seems to have gotten her act together and I’m happy for her.” Although O’Donnell once said Jones was “delusional” when Star said she lost weight the old fashioned way, Rosie now supports the way she handled the situation. “Everyone gets there in their own time. It’s sort of like people saying, ‘Gay people should come out more’… Why didn’t she talk about it? She wasn’t ready to talk about it. But it was just hard to pretend as though we ["The View" co-hosts] believed.”

Late last year she mended fences with long time nemesis Howard Stern - who even offered her some time on one of his Sirius radio channels as a peace offering. Now, Rosie and Star are burying the hatchet. Could make-up hugs and kisses with The Donald be far behind? I don’t know what’s gotten into Rosie lately- perhaps she finally finished menopause or something. But whatever the reason, I like it. | Lily Allen did a concert in L.A. last night and during her cover of Britney’s “Woomanizah” (which Lily and her proper British heritage pronounces “Womanizer”), Lindsay Lohan sauntered onto the stage. She whispered something to Lily, gave her a monkey hug, and tried out a few of her sexiest dance moves. Lindsay’s appearance was totally random and unnecessary, but isn’t her life these days? Seeing her go up there looking like some useless attention-starved little monkey was just sad. This video makes me wonder. Iron Man is rocketing back into action on Monday, and Robert Downey Jr. is already sizing up his new nemesis: Mickey Rourke. "Hell yeah, I’ve been ready for him!" Downey tells E!’s Daily 10, insisting that all the drama with The Wrestler star will be onscreen. "We’re not going to fight. We have to make a movie! Nobody fights in Hollywood." In The Soloist, Jamie Foxx plays Nathaniel Ayers, a real-life brilliant musician living on the streets of Los Angeles and suffering from schizophrenia. Foxx says filming was therapeutic for him because of an incident in his life when he was younger. “I had a childhood fear of losing my mind,” he says. “When I was 18 years old something bad happened to me in college. Someone slipped something to me (a drug). I flipped out. For 11 months I wondered if I’d come out of it. I thought I was going to be crazy. So going into this character years later, I’m asking my psychiatrist, ‘Can I catch schizophrenia?’” To prepare for his role, Foxx says, “I snuck downtown with my security guys and I watched Nathaniel do his thing for a couple of hours. I watched him playing and when he played he was somewhere else. I wanted to meet him first before ‘meeting’ him. I recorded everything he did. When he plays music, it calms his soul. When I was 18, I played my music on the piano and it kept me who I am. So I really am him in a sense.” Foxx also responds to an incident that happened less than two weeks ago at his Philadelphia hotel where he is currently filming Law Abiding Citizen. Reports say 49 year old Steven Taliver tried to force his way into Foxx’s room, but Foxx was able to shove him out and call security. On how he is doing today, Foxx says, “Good. Everything’s good. I can’t talk about it now because of the legal thing.” The Philadelphia Police confirmed to ET today that Steven Taliver was arrested by the Philadelphia Police on March 31st for burglary, criminal trespassing, stalking, harassment, and false impersonating. | The Bones' "The Doctor in the Den" Fashion Surprise

I just finished watching the recent Bones episode The Doctor in the Den via Hulu.com. (You can watch The Doctor in the Den on Hulu, too!) The episode was pretty decent - I enjoyed the segment where a potential witness was put under hypnosis. I did NOT so much enjoy hearing the fact that if you die in your home a typical housecat will eat you before you’re cold! WHAT! Not my cat, and not Taylor’s, either! Near the end of the episode, something shocking happened. A two-hit whammy of unexpected, atrocious outfits! First, Bones walked in wearing some sort of army straight jacket that I can picture a clueless ANTM (America’s Next Top Model) contestant wearing. THEN, Cam appeared wearing a black-on-black outfit with a ridiculous leather jacket (the lapels are way too huge). And the entire time, they were trying to say serious (SRUZ!) stuff, but it was almost lost on me because the outfits were silently screaming at me! Yes, I hear voices.  |

Rumors began to swirl this weekend suggesting that Keyshia Cole’s mother, Frankie Lons, was involved in a deadly car accident. Fortunately, Keyshia’s rep was able to deny the rumors, confirming that Frankie was NOT involved in a car accident and is alive and well. “Imani Entertainment has received a huge amount of inquiries in regard to the rumor about Keyshia Cole’s biological mom, Frankie Lons, having recently passed in an automobile accident. This recession is real people. Despite the fact that there’s a clear void in the “young, dancing, male R&B singer” world, Omarion is apparently trying his damndest to revive his career. It’s obvious dude can slide in right about now and steal a certain someone’s coveted spot quicker than you can say O, but according to The YBF, home boy is about to leak a sex tape with his bi-sexual wife. What a surprise. Another actress becomes a clothing designer! According to PEOPLE, Tori Spelling has a deal for a a new children’s clothing line, Little Maven by Tori Spelling. The line hits stores this fall. She says that her kids, Liam and Stella, inspired her for the line. She wanted to make “stylish yet accessible clothing for infants, toddlers, and children." The line will retail between $24 and $88. Us normal people know that its ridiculus to spend $80 for an outfit that will fit a kid for a couple of months. But I am sure there are some people out there who have money to throw away on clothes their kids will outgrow very quickly.

Miley Cyrus and her family were on hand last night for the premiere of Miley’s new Hannah Montana movie last night at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. It’s looks like that a movie premiere would be one of the most fun parties around. The movie debuts in theaters on April 10. In the Hannah Montana movie Miley enjoys the best of both worlds — but faced with having to choose just one! Struggling to juggle school, her friends and her secret pop-star persona, Miley seems to want to be a media darling instead of a daughter to Robby Ray (Billy Ray Cyrus), sister to Jackson (Jason Earles) and best friend to Lilly (Emily Osment). With the spotlight threatening to consume his daughter, Robby Ray decides to get Miley back on track and takes the family back home to Grandma Ruby’s (Margo Martindale) Tennessee farm in Crowley Corners. Initially out of her element, Miley soon finds romance and learns a thing or two about what it means to truly live life out of the spotlight. But does that mean this is the end of Hannah Montana?
It should be interesting to see how it will probably blow all the other movies out of the water that weekend.

Teri Hatcher hit the red carpet last night for the premiere of the Hannah Montana movie at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood with her daughter, Emerson, 11. I wonder how much Emerson enjoyed the movie? I have heard that it’s great. I liked High School Musical, maybe I would like this one too.
