Ashlee Simpson had her baby 4 months ago and it looks like she did a great job of losing her baby weight. She’s looking great and she is NOT too skinny! I hope she’s not starving herself; we don’t want her looking like Mischa.

Miley won't spiral out of control

In a recent interview with Glamour Magazine, Miley talks about her new beau, Justin Gaston, and life as a teen celebrity. Miley says,

The best thing that's happened to me in a long, long time has been meeting Justin…

Long time? She is only 16 and she was 15 when she met him! He’s just asking for a statutory rape situation. She is still a kid and he almost 21. Miley also said,

I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong, and I'm ready for people to accept it. My fans already accept it—they just want me to be happy. And I haven't been that happy in a few years…working so hard, moving to L.A. from Nashville, going through a bad breakup [with Nick Jonas]. I'm finally happy again, and I think that is reflected in my music and my work. So honestly, I don't feel like there's anything to hide. And I love him so much I don't really care.

Love? yeah right! Haven’t been happy in a few years? Are you kidding me? A few years ago she was 12 or 13 - who is unhappy at that age. She was Hannah Montana, she had no reason to be unhappy. She also said,

I think it's selfish to go out partying all the time…

We’ll see. She has already been all over the tabloids for her racy pics on the net. I see her becoming the next Britney or Lindsay!

Jessica Alba was spotted in the park with her cute daughter, Honor, at Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills yesterday. It seems like everyone goes to that park. I bet Honor had a lot of fun playing in the sand.

Heidi Montag's new album
April 3, 2009 at 10:36 am

Another reality tv star thinks she can do more than reality tv. Heidi Montag is working on her first album and wants Lil Wayne and Spencer Pratt on her album. She says,

Spencer Pratt is amazing…I’d love to get him on my album. He sings, he raps — he does everything.”

I understand wanting Lil Wayne, so people will buy the album but Spencer Pratt? According to MTV:

Recently, Heidi worked with songwriter Cathy Dennis (Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl”), whom she describes as a “genius.” The two recorded the track “Look How I’m Doin’.” Much like “Your Love Found Me,” it has a dancey vibe, but Heidi isn’t planning to make an all-dance album.

I listened to the song. The song itself is kinda catchy but she cannot sing! It didn’t really sound like she was singing, that’s why she’s doing dance music because it’s so fast she doesn’t have a chance to actually sing. You can take any girl who has wanted to be a singer, put her in a studio, tweak her voice and it will sound good.

Madonna's Malawi adoption rejected
April 3, 2009 at 9:58 am

madonna-b_21.jpg

On Friday, the judge rejected Madonna’s request to adopt Mercy James according to the AP. The reason for the rejection was that Madonna had not satisfied the residency rule. She needed to live in the south African nation for 18 months. This rule was waived when she adopted David a couple of years ago.

Madonna has the option to appeal to a higher Supreme Court. We’ll see what she decides. Mercy James has family in Malawi who want to take care of her so I don’t understant why Madonna is trying to take her away from her family. I bet if Madonna was trying to adopt a true orphan, there would not have been such controversy over the adoption.

Ollie Golightly
April 3, 2009 at 9:00 am

The ring slings from Ollie Golightly (starting at $120CAD) are eye-catching, to say the least. Made from linen or organic cotton with a grosgrain binding (which is as useful for helping you adjust your sling as it is stylish), and hand-printed (in water-based, non-toxic ink) with a delicious design of your choosing, you and baby will turn a lot of heads when you go out with one of these ring sling gems. The organic cotton option is even dyed with absolutely, completely, totally natural plant and mineral based dyes. While the Ollie Golightly sling has a slightly different shoulder than I'm used to wearing, it took no time at all to get used to this beautiful, beautiful — oh, did I mention it's beautiful? — sling. And it's super-duper comfortable, too. Ollie Golightly also makes equally lovely nursing aprons for mamas on the go.

Jenny McCarthy Joins the 'Girls Team' As a Passionate Parent
April 3, 2009 at 9:00 am

Far before giving birth to her first child and becoming an advocate for autism, the name Jenny McCarthy conjured a completely different image in the mind. Shortly after Jenny welcomed her son Evan Joseph in 2002, the new mom “dialed back the whole sex kitten thing,” and eventually found herself a part of “the girls team,” as she was cheered on by a new audience: fellow parents. “When I went public about his autism, I gained credibility as a passionate mom,” she tells the April issue of Shape magazine.

That same passion, says Jenny, was the motivation behind her ultimate decision to forego her usual “good girl and rules follower” tendencies and dig deeper for answers to her son’s illness. “When the doctor said there was no hope, I decided to listen to myself, rather than an authority figure, for once,” she shares. Certain that with her help Evan “would be able to fight this thing,” Jenny recalls her breaking point after witnessing her baby boy suffer a seizure and quickly slip into cardiac arrest.

For Jenny, the possibility of losing her son as a result of his attacks as a baby is all too real. “The only difference between Evan and Jett Travolta (whose family hasn’t responded to claims that he had autism) is that we were able to revive Evan,” she says.

While her devotion to the cause has stirred the pot more than once in the media, Jenny’s message to the naysayers is simple: she will not be defeated! “I just want to continue to tell my story and to teach parents,” she explains.

“Anyone who wants to listen, great, and anyone who doesn’t, fine. That’s how I move forward.”

In her quest to cure her son from autism, Jenny has been open about the drastic changes — eliminating gluten and dairy — she has made to Evan’s diet, all in an effort to improve his symptoms. In addition to the strict regimen working wonders for her little boy, Jenny — who since follows the same diet plan — shares that she has watched her extra pregnancy pounds melt off! After gaining far more weight than she had imagined during the nine-month stretch, the combination of Weight Watchers matched with her new approach to eating healthy left the former model thrilled. “I thought I might be 170 when I left the hospital [after giving birth], but no, I was 200!” she reveals.

Evan is Jenny’s son with her ex-husband John Asher.

Madonna's Adoption Request Rejected
April 3, 2009 at 7:30 am

Tom Munro/AP

A residency requirement in Malawi has prevented Madonna from adopting a second child from that African nation, a judge and a lawyer told the Associated Press on Friday.

The news service described the judge as a witness not involved in Friday’s court ruling, and the lawyer as another who was present at the time of the decision. Both the judge and the lawyer spoke on conditions of anonymity.

The residency requirement for prospective parents is 18 to 24 months in Malawi. Madonna has homes in New York and London.

Madonna, 50, adopted her son, David Banda, now 3 ½, from Malawi in 2008. The move was not without its controversy, amid claims that her application received special status because of her celebrity.

The singer, a single mother, was planning to adopt 3½-year-old Mercy James, whom she first met in an orphanage in 2006. Her other children are daughter Lourdes Maria, 12, and son Rocco John, 8 ½.

There has been no word on whether Madonna intends to appeal the ruling.

When her Malawian lawyer, Alan Chinula, broke the news that High Court judge Esme Chombo had rejected her petition to adopt a Malawian toddler, an incredulous Madonna “kept wringing her hands,” a source at Kumbali Lodge, where the pop star is staying, tells PEOPLE. Madonna, who filed her adoption papers on Monday, was not present in court.

At the hearing, the judge said child welfare officers are required to find suitable prospective parents and “not someone who just flies in and out.” In terms of the child, “I think the welfare of [Mercy] will be better served if she grows within the environment of the culture of Malawi,” she said.

The judge also said that because Madonna is already assisting other orphans, Mercy will still benefit from star’s generosity.

It was a sad day yesterday when Matthew Horne collapsed during a theatre performance of ‘Entertaining Mr Sloane’, mainly because if this had happened a few months ago he may never have been able to appear in the ‘Corden and Horne’ show, this generation’s equivalent of ‘Hale and Pace’ but without the hilarious ‘The Management’.
